About the Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned Cisco Unified Communications Engineer to design, implement, and test critical voice and video communication infrastructure for the Network Enhancement project. Your expertise in CUCM, Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (SME), CUBE, voice gateways, attendant consoles, and contact center solutions will be essential in ensuring the smooth and successful implementation of the project. This is a part-time role that is fully remote but may require occasional travel to Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related components (SME, CUBE, gateways).
• Design, configure, and test attendant consoles and contact center solutions.
• Optimize and configure video conferencing and collaboration systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve voice and video communication issues.
• Monitor system performance and capacity planning.
• Collaborate and coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure seamless integration of communication systems.
• Develop design and test documentation for Cisco UC systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco Unified Communications solutions.
• Deep understanding of CUCM, SME, CUBE, voice gateways, attendant consoles, and contact center technologies.
• Familiarity with video conferencing solutions and QoS implementation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cisco certifications (CCNP Collaboration or higher) are preferred.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sub-contractors and manage project deliverables.
• Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.
