WSP are looking for a Claims & Compliance Specialist (to be based at Makkah) who will be responsible for all matters related to claims management and compliance with contract requirements impacting upon the Major Project in Makkah ensuring best practice.

The key objectives of the role will be to:
• Provide accurate Claims & Compliance function and driving excellence internally
• Creation and management of beneficial stakeholder relationships

Role duties will include the following:
• Prepare plans to minimize claims
• Establish procedure to manage claims
• Maintain all related regulations enforcement with the objective to enhance company image and protect shareholders rights
• Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on project
• Review claims submitted by consultants and contractors and make sure that they are compliant and produce reports
• Identify, diagnose and resolve essential compliance changes to deliver the required levels of assurance
• Provide detailed evaluation of potential claim impact, to the Project Management team
• Keep track of laws and regulations that might affect the project
• Proactively manage and maintain comprehensive claims documentation
• Review all contract documents to ensure congruity and to minimize latent ambiguities
• Investigate, evaluate, and provide recommendations for the settlement of claims
• Be a self-starter and take work ownership

Requirements

In order to meet the challenge you will have the following skills and experience:
• Bachelor Degree with minimum 8 years relevant experience
• Experience in Claims Management Experience in dealing with large claims on large infrastructure projects
• Good report writing skills
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Effective research and analysis skill
