Commercial Manager

Digby Morris’ client was established in the late 1800’s as a trading company importing and exporting textiles and involved in traditional building contracts. Today it has emerged as a major international business conglomerate with interests in construction, real estate, textiles, engineering goods, shipping and power. The contracting business has been responsible for the delivery of some of the most iconic building projects in Asia, Middle East and North Africa.

Having recently been awarded the contract for the design and build of a major national utilities company’s new $400m headquarters, the company has identified an immediate need for a Managing QS/Project Commercial Manager to take commercial and contractual responsibility for delivery of the project.

Requirements

- Western educated candidate preferred with degree in QS or Civil Engineering or similar associated discipline
- Min 15yrs experience gained primarily in a contracting environment
- Middle East experience preferred with Saudi experience being highly desirable
- Familiar with FIDIC forms of contract
