Job description / Role
Our client, a large family group with multiple international brands, has exclusively engaged Charterhouse to assist in a search for a Commercial Manager to be based in Riyadh for their Home Décor (Soft and Hard Furnishing) and Accessories Brand, which has multiple locations across Saudi Arabia.
The role will be a full 360 management role and will include managing a team tasked with planning, selecting and purchasing goods and merchandise to create a coordinated home décor range including kitchenware, tableware, textiles, lighting and wall art. In addition, you will be responsible for sourcing new goods and reviewing existing lines to ensure the brand has a competitive position within the market. You will be tasked with sourcing new suppliers and developing relationships with existing contractors as well as analysing market data, coordinating product launches / promotions / branding and managing incoming and outgoing product ranges.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be fluent in English, be goal orientated and possess strong presentation skills both verbal and written. Ideally, you should have previous experience in Europe, Australasia or the Middle East in a similar role, working closely with supply chain and visual merchandising departments. It is essential you are creative, have a strategic approach to retail alongside the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As this role will require travel across the Middle East, you should have the freedom to travel with no visa restrictions.
