Commercial Manager - Future Opportunities

We are now seeking an exceptional Commercial Manager - Future Opportunities for a requirement that we expect in the coming months to join our award winning team based in Jeddah/Makkah.

This critical role will be responsible for representing the firm in communications with the client and other entities on a regular basis, from post contract award throughout the entire course of the construction activities.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include:

- Maintaining proper and complete communication with the Design Executive on all commercial related issues.
- Supervising the management of the project changes.
- Providing guidance and training to project staff on commercial issues.
- Managing the settlement and resolution of client and contractors claims.
- Managing project invoicing/billing to the client.
- Supervising the management of contractual cost controls and financial control procedures.
- Supervising the management of projects on all matters related to commercial/contractual matters including claims and dispute resolution.
- Participating in cost and contractual review meetings and reports thereon.
- Overseeing completion of all close out formalities and the final account for the projects.
- Supervising the monthly project cost reports and input to consolidated Monthly Report to the client.
- Providing general commercial/contractual support to the project teams.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years' career experience partnered with a Bachelor of Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Chartered status with Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors will be viewed favourably.
