Commercial Manager

Job description / Role

Randstad is working with an established fit-out contractor in the search for a Commercial Manager to join the team in Riyadh, KSA. Based in Riyadh, you will take commercial charge of several concurrent, prestigious projects, primarily spanning Retail, High-End Residential, and Hospitality sectors. This is a hands-on role where you will drive profitability and financial stability across your assigned portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

- Oversee all commercial aspects of the fit-out projects, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Manage contract execution, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
- Lead the procurement process, negotiate with and manage subcontractors, and ensure timely and commercially advantageous purchasing
- Manage commercial correspondence and contractual relations with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Diligently manage all variations (VOs) and claims, maximizing commercial recovery while maintaining client relationships

To be considered, candidates applying must have:

- Strong, verifiable experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager working with fit-out contractors. Experience within the Retail, Hospitality, or Residential sectors is highly desirable
- While Middle East experience is a bonus, we are explicitly welcoming candidates with solid international fit-out experience who are ready to relocate and embrace the opportunities in Riyadh, KSA
- Exceptional negotiation skills, a sharp commercial focus, and a proactive, goal-oriented mindset

Salary:
SAR 45,000 to 50,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
