A unique opportunity for a seasoned Compliance Manager to join this Global Private Bank based in Ryiadh, Saudi Arabia. You must be a Saudi National and have experience of working with private banking clients. You will be reporting directly into the Head of Compliance that sit in the UAE.

Our client is a global Private Bank in the region.

The Compliance Manager is responsible for managing the regulatory and reputational issues associated with the business operations in the MENA region. The department's remit covers client account opening, AML monitoring activities, trade surveillance, advising on investment banking issues arising from exchange trading and origination activities etc and also requires the maintenance of good relationship with local regulators.

The successful candidate will be expected to proactively work with the in-country Compliance teams to identify risks and take steps to mitigate these risks. The candidate will be responsible for the provision of effective and timely support to the local businesses as well as execution of all aspects of the Compliance Action Plan relevant for each country in the region.

The Compliance Manager will manage the Compliance function and all regulatory relations within the Middle East and North Africa region and will be responsible for:
* Advise regional management on regulatory issues including communications with various regulators in the region
* Participating and even leading internal investigations
* Participating in the delivery of Compliance, AML and OFAC Training, Performing Compliance Monitoring reviews and surveillance
* Tracking and following to resolution issues raised in the course of the execution of the Compliance Action Plan, other compliance reviews, audits and regulatory exams
* Drafting of cross border manuals and provide advice on its implementation

Requirements

* Candidate must be a Saudi National
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial sector within a Private Banking / Wealth Management Compliance Advisory team
* Knowledge of CMA and other regulatory environment in the MENA region
* Relevant Legal /Compliance Qualifications are desirable
* Ability to multi task, prioritise and work to deadlines in a pressurized environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to interact with individuals at all levels
