Employment: Full Time

As the sole Compliance Officer & MLRO for KSA, you will be responsible for all documentation, procedures, policies and functional requirements to obtain a Major Payment Institution License in KSA.

Our client is the fintech arm of a global technology business. The group is one of the biggest brand names in Asia and is looking to replicate their growth in KSA.

Description

* Working alongside your manager, you will build the compliance setup for KSA, with the aim of obtaining an Major PI License.
* Handle all compliance interviews and inspections by financial institution partners in KSA.
* Develop working relationships and regularly liaise with key regulators like SAMA.
* Implement compliance-related policies and controls, and monitor their status vis-à-vis local laws and regulations.
* Be the key point of contact for all licensing issues, including ad hoc requests and projects.

Requirements

* Must be a Saudi National or a Permanent Resident of KSA.
* Must have 8+ years of experience in Compliance, ideally for established financial institutions or financial services start-ups.
* Proven track record in securing regulatory licenses.
* Professional Certifications in the domain, i.e. legal qualification in KSA, ACAMS, AML Specialist etc.
* Strong communication in English and Arabic.
