Computational Designer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Computational Designer to join our engineering consulting team in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will leverage computational methods to enhance design processes, optimize project outcomes, and drive innovation within our engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement computational design models and algorithms to support engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate computational tools in project workflows.
- Analyze complex data sets to inform design decisions and optimize performance.
- Create detailed simulations and visualizations to communicate design concepts and outcomes.
- Continuously research and apply new computational techniques to improve efficiency and quality of engineering solutions.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements throughout the design process.

- Bachelor's degree in Computational Design, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar computational tools.
- Experience with design software such as Rhino, Grasshopper, or relevant CAD tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex engineering challenges.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of engineering principles and construction processes is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
