Westlakes Recruit is currently recruiting for an experienced MODULAR Construction Director with a deep background in modular buildings, steel structures, and pre-fabrication to support the NEOM The Line project on a permanent basis in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic MODULAR Construction Director with a deep background in modular buildings, steel structures, and pre-fabrication methods. The ideal candidate will bring over 25 years of expertise in delivering large-scale construction projects, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction through to post-construction. This role, based in Saudi Arabia, will be integral to the success of innovative, high-profile construction projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage large-scale construction projects, emphasizing modular building systems, steel, and pre-fabrication. Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.

Pre-construction Planning:
- Oversee initial project planning, including feasibility studies, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to create and implement efficient project plans.

Construction Execution:
- Direct on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and sustainability. Monitor day-to-day operations and proactively resolve challenges to keep projects on track.

Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, consultants, and other stakeholders. Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to all parties.

Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with local, national, and international building codes and regulations. Promote a culture of safety across all project teams.

Quality Assurance:
- Implement rigorous quality control measures throughout the construction process, ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.

Post-construction Oversight:
- Lead the handover process and ensure successful project closeout. Address any post-construction issues and conduct project evaluations for continuous improvement.

- Minimum of 25 years in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects from inception to completion.
- Extensive experience in modular construction, steel frameworks, and pre-fabrication methods, with a solid understanding of the unique challenges and benefits of these building techniques.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered status) are highly desirable.

Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and people management abilities, with experience leading large, diverse teams.
- Strong financial and resource management skills.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s construction regulations and experience with projects in the Middle East region is an advantage.

Salary:
SAR 78000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
