Construction Manager

A leading construction contracting company specializing in delivering complex projects in the fields of ports and infratructure is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join their team in Tabuk - Saudi Arabia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the successful execution of challenging projects in a dynamic environment.

Position Overview: As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising construction activities related to ports, marine, and offshore projects. With your extensive contracting experience and technical expertise, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills, exceptional project management abilities, and a deep understanding of construction practices within the specified domains.

Location: Tabuk, Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction projects related to ports, offshore piping, and cranes, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Monitor and control project progress, ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and technical drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Develop and implement construction strategies and methodologies, optimizing resource allocation, work sequencing, and construction sequencing.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources required for construction activities.
• Implement robust safety protocols and practices, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential construction issues, address challenges, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Manage and resolve construction-related conflicts, disputes, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor and control project budgets, tracking expenses, and implementing cost control measures to ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.

Salary:
SAR 10,000 to 40,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Negotiable depending on experience

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on ports, offshore piping, and cranes projects.
• Contracting experience
• Must be based in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate
• Must be able to start as soon as possible
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects in a contracting environment.
• Fluent in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
