Consultant - Dermatologist

Job description / Role

• Establish and maintain professional standards for quality service in dealing with patients.
• Perform investigations and management of dermatological diseases using subspecialty related invasive procedures within the capabilities of institutional resources.
• Provides expertise in laser treatment a variety of dermatological problems.
• To work in the Skin Care Department as required.
• Responsible for the smooth running of his/her assigned clinic.
• Ensure that all data of the patients are recorded in the patient’s care in the patient's medical record in accordance with the acceptable international standards and medical center’s regulations.
• Perform collaborative assistance in referrals of Dermatology patients to appropriate facilities for further management.
• Represent Al Salam Health Medical Company in the Committee for Dermatology related seminars and symposia.
• Actively participates in any training program or education activity related Dermatology and organized within the medical center for training staff and in- service training classes for the nursing staff.
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realms of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.

Requirements

Reports to : Medical Administrator and / or the medical Director
Responsible for: Assigned patients.
Liaises with: Medical, Nursing, Support, and Patient Services Staff along with patients and families

• Graduate from a recognized medical school with MD or MBBCh or its international equivalent.
• Board Degree or its equivalent in Dermatology as per the Saudi Council regulations.
• Three to five years related experience after post-graduation.
• Must have valid Saudi Commission For Health Specialties License as a Consltant
• Knowledge in laser equipment such as Cynosure Photo Genica (vascular) and Cynosure Apogee 40 (hair removal) is required and other Cosmo derma procedures such as fillers, monotherapy, face, threads , .. etc.
• Proficiency in English language is essential.
• Knowledge in Arabic language is desirable.
