Contracts Administrator (Dammam)

- Prepare, issue, arbitrate, and award contracts with consultation of the construction and engineering team
- Review and process interim payment claims from the subcontractor
- Settle and close final accounts in accordance of the project legislation
- Prepare and agree any project variations
- Review all contractual obligations and ensure all work is completed in conformance
- Monitoring compliance of contract requirements
- Oversee and manage proposal planning and administration of contracts
- Prepare contract briefs and summarize contractual requirement and budgets
- Formulate contract change notices, review contractor performance including reporting and deliverables
- Maintain an audit file for each contract including the original contract, all communication/correspondence, changes/deviations, payment schedules and amendments
- Analyse and mitigate risk associated with the contract and project
- Interpret contract provisions to help resolve claims

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds an Academic or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or any relevant discipline.

The candidate has a minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience within commercial and contract management and administration. Experience within real estate developments is essential.

- Excellent verbal and written skills;
- Strong business acumen;
- Strong understanding of the business to include their business drivers for success, process and approaches to business models;
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and experience:
- Ability to lead remote and local subordinates, communicate directions and ensure the demands and responsibilities of a distributed workforce are being met;
- Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism;
- Builds and maintains strong professional, trusted relationships with management, peers and staff;
- Provides guidance, persuades and influences decision makers;
- Enthusiastic and committed attitude toward work and task completion;
