Contracts Claims Manager - KSA

Client is a leading international contractor and they have a role for a contracts manager to work in Riyadh KSA.

This would be an excellent opportunity for the candidate to further their career in the Middle East.

Requirements

- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- RICS (or equivalent);
- Preferably a secondary qualification (e.g. MSc) in Contract Law, Dispute Resolution and/or Arbitration.
- Alternatively, Membership or Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators
- Must have worked for a minimum of three (3) years for a large Contractor
- Must have a minimum of three (3) year experience working in the Middle East
- Must have a minimum of ten (10) years demonstrable and clear skills and experience in the contractual (and commercial) management of large building projects
- Must also have a minimum three (3) years demonstrable experience of both preparing/drafting ‘and’ reviewing/assessing contractual claims for additional time and/or money
- Must have good knowledge of construction contracts and terms and contract law
- Experience in planning/scheduling and/or delay analysis would be a bonus
- Proven IT skills including the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must have proven high quality written letters and documents in English and to give clear oral presentations in English.
