Contracts Manager - Oil & Gas - Remote Location

My client a leading international Tier 1 main contractor specializing in delivering complex oil and gas projects globally. With a strong track record in EPC/EPCM contracting, we are currently executing a high-profile oil and gas project in A remote location in Saudi Arabia and are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join their project team.

Role Overview

The Contract Manager will be responsible for the effective management of all contract-related matters on a major oil and gas project. You will act as the focal point for contract administration, change management, claims, and compliance with contractual obligations, reporting directly to the Project Director and coordinating closely with the Commercial and Legal teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage all contract administration activities on the project.
* Interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure project compliance and mitigate risks.
* Administer key project contracts, including prime contract and major subcontracts.
* Prepare and manage variation orders, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and other contractual correspondences.
* Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and remedies.
* Support procurement and subcontracting strategies and contract negotiations.
* Maintain accurate contract records, logs, and documentation in alignment with company and client requirements.
* Coordinate with legal, commercial, and project control teams to ensure cohesive execution of contract management strategy.
* Assist in the resolution of disputes and claims, liaising with external counsel as needed.
* Monitor and report on contract performance metrics and risk registers.

* Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in contract management within the oil and gas sector.
* Experience working with international Tier 1 contractors on large-scale EPC or EPCM projects.
* Strong understanding of FIDIC, NEC, or other international contract frameworks.
* Proven experience managing contracts in challenging international environments, ideally within the Gulf Region.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent in English
* Willingness to work on-site in Saudi Arabia on a rotation or residential basis.
