Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all acquisition, joint venture, and partnership activity;
- Identify and assess potential opportunities;
- Negotiate and close deals;
- Work with senior management to set overall strategy;
- Set long-term goals & formulate growth strategies;
- Create plans to achieve these goals and monitor their implementation;
- Evaluate opportunities and threats to the organization's success;
- Maintain a strong network of industry, government and investment community contacts;
- Apply game theory techniques to strategic partner/government negotiations;
- Develop and maintain a detailed roadmap of maximizing value across competing value-creation alternatives.

Requirements

- 5+ years in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, or similar role;
- Technical / Business degree with substantial understanding of Business, Corporate Finance and Accounting. Good understanding of Geology, Mining, Mineral Processing, and Law;
- Knowledge of English and Arabic is required;
- Communication skills, stress resistance, very high attention to detail, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building skills;
- Proven track record of successful negotiations;
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior management, and key industry contacts;
- Strong analytical and research skills;
- Proven track record of finding and validating data from various alternative sources to synthesize an accurate overall situation and alternatives for strategic decision-making.
