Employment: Full Time

Our client, a leading player in the offshore drilling industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate HSE Manager to lead and drive the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) strategy. The successful candidate will provide leadership, expertise, and guidance in all aspects of HSE to ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and a strong safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver relevant and accurate data to support the development and execution of the company's HSE strategy.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with customers and key stakeholders to facilitate efficient HSE management.
- Serve as the company classification approver for injury reports and Process Safety Events (PSE).
- Analyze accident and incident statistics, identify trends, and implement improvement plans.
- Lead projects related to the implementation of new HSE software systems, such as Synergy, and manage HSE software administration teams.
- Develop and report on trends and data analysis related to HSE performance.
- Produce internal and external reports as required, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Benchmark industry best practices in HSE to drive continuous business improvement.
- Implement Barrier Management through the development of systems and processes.
- Create, revise, and update Safety Cases or Risk Registers as necessary.
- Lead and manage the Corporate HSE team to ensure effective delivery of HSE objectives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in HSE Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in the HSE field, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in the offshore drilling industry is highly preferred.
- Holder of a recognized HSE qualification, such as NEBOSH Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and articulately at all levels of the organization.
- Arabic speaking.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of cost-effectiveness and budget management.
