Cost Control Manager

Job description / Role

Working closely with the Project QS & Senior Cost Control Manager, the position is project based and will be the number two on a multi-million-dollar hotel project. The ideal candidate will need 10+ years’ experience, degree qualified, have a good working knowledge of CCS Candy and have a proven track record on a major build project.

Responsibilities:
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client;
- Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
- Assisting in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
- Performing risk, value management and cost control;
- Advising on procurement strategy;
- Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks;
- Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders;
- Allocating work to subcontractors;
- Providing advice on contractual claims;
- Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;
- Valuing completed work and arranging payments;
- Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
- Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree
- Salary is SAR45,000 per month + medical insurance + 1 annual flight (GBP100,800 per year tax free)
- With 10 years’ experience in executing high value hospitality projects
- Must have proven track record on hospitality projects
- Must have proven leadership ability, communications skills, interpersonal skills, and sound judgment.
- Must be able to develop strong relationships and accounts with clients.
