Project Cost Controller

On a behalf of high profile client, we are looking for outstanding Project Cost Controller , to hire urgently, it is preferable to have work experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC.

Summary

The Project Cost Controller is responsible to constantly evaluate and update the accuracy of the program cost forecast (Estimate at Completion EAC) by assessing actual cost incurred and physical progress achieved for all phases of the program.

Specific Responsibilities

• Review cost commitment and expenditure information for all cost elements, for input to the computerized cost control and reporting system on a consistent basis and ensure that all information received is accurate and correctly input;
• Set-up work breakdown and project coding structures;
• Assist in developing and managing project budget in consultation with Project Director and program team;
• Analyze variance in cost and schedule and recommend corrective actions;
• Identify trends and deviations and report to the project controls;
• Recommend solution and recover plans to address schedule and cost impacts;
• Prepare documentation to support scope changes in relation to budget, estimate and forecast;
• Prepare monthly cost report which includes actual and forecast costs for the program based on information supplied by the project team;
• Follow up on the actual and forecast owners costs required for the program;
• Provide accurate and timely financial cost status reports including maintaining cash;
• Perform all other position related duties as requested.

Requirements

Skills / Competencies

• Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, Access and database technology;
• Experience in cost forecasting, cost accounting and/or project accounting, budgeting/estimating;
• Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects, detail oriented;
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills;
• Fluent in English.
