Overview

We are seeking a Cost Engineer to join the Project Controls Group of Community Services Projects Department. The Project Controls Group is responsible for providing support to all concerned Divisions related to Project Cost Control, Scheduling Control, Contracts Administration and Reporting Projects KPIs. The Cost Engineer primary role is to carry out cost functions during all stages of the project. These functions are related to the project cost activities and project execution of capital and non-capital projects. Duties will include analysis and evaluation of project cost, project forecast, and cost trend analysis, as well as reporting cost related KPIs.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be required to perform the following:
- Provide cost analysis and evaluation of project cost, project forecast, and cost trend analysis.
- Provide professional judgment and experience in business and program cost planning, cost estimating cost control and change management.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
- As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from a recognized and approved program.
- You will have at least ten years' experience in construction cost engineering, including at least five years in cost control aspect.
- An advanced degree is preferred related to Cost Engineering.
