Cost Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Manager to join our engineering team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all cost-related aspects of our projects, ensuring budgets are maintained and costs are controlled effectively. This is a key role that supports project profitability and financial planning within our dynamic engineering environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, forecasts, and reports to support project planning and execution.
- Analyze project costs and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to manage costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and validate contractor and supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of project expenditures and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Implement cost control procedures and tools to optimize resource allocation.
- Assist in risk management by evaluating potential cost impacts and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations related to project costing and budgeting.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 10 years of in the engineering industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and reporting abilities.
- Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
