WSP Middle East are currently seeking an experienced, strategically minded and results driven Country Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to ensure our HSE Management system is embedded into our projects across Saudi Arabia.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Implement business HSE policy and procedures across the projects in KSA
* Lead in driving our HSE culture
* Provide sound advice, support and training on the requirements of our HSE management system to project HSE Leads
* Promote and encourage safe behaviours to support a positive HSE culture
* Undertake regular project site inspections and audits to ensure that site activities carried out in line with WSP procedure and legal requirements
* Oversee the performance and development of regional health and safety professionals in my country
* Engage with the resident engineers, project directors and country director on all health, safety and environmental matters
* Lead on HSE initiatives and awareness campaigns across the projects in my country
* Support the implementation of HSE training plans and identify new opportunities to upskill our project HSE teams
* Assist project HSE Leads on the investigation of incidents to establish immediate, underlying and root causes to prevent recurrence
* Manage incidents reported through the iSMS portal, ensure incidents are investigated, closed out and lessons are shared within the business

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* At least 10 years' experience in the field of HSE
* A degree level qualification in e.g. NEBOSH Diploma Level 6, NVQ Diploma Level 5 or equivalent
* Have an internal / external auditing qualification, ISO 45001, 14001 or 9001
* Driving License
