Our Clients’ Middle East offices are internationally recognized as the most dynamic, fastest growing emerging markets for this Fortune 500 company. An original equipment manufacturer, responsible for developing, marketing and selling products and applications across the water industries globally.

As part of their strategic growth strategy, our Clients are hiring a Country Manager to lead their sales and operations in Saudi Arabia.

Based in Riyadh and reporting to the International Sales Director, you will manage a team of Area Sales Managers and be responsible for:

• Increasing the client base and revenues by generating new business and customers;
• Achieving sales metrics to a variety of customers within the construction, municipal and industrial markets;
• Operational and performance management of the sales team to ensure specific metrics and targets are achieved;
• Building strategic relationships with consultants, contractors and end-users to support business development;
• Management of distribution channels to ensure they have the know-how and support to successfully sell products, and;
• Agreeing on annual sales targets for appointed distributors.
• You will be responsible for delivering a sales / revenue target of several million USD per year.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s of engineering degree with further studies in economics, sales or marketing;
• 15 or more years’ proven track record and experience of working in Saudi Arabia’s water industry leading the sales of either pumps, rotating equipment or related industrial products;
• Development of strategic relationships with end-users, contractors, EPCs in Saudi Arabia;
• Distributor / dealer sales force development and management experience
• Strong commercial and business acumen with good financial understanding of budgetary control
• Thought leadership, team sales and performance management experience
• Excellent communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders
• Resourcefulness and result orientated
• Comprehensive understanding of industry trends and challenges
• Must have an excellent command of the Arabic and English language and be an effective communicator
