Marketing Executive - EXTREME Events
Permanent position


Job Title: Creative Lead
Reports To: Marketing Director
Based in Ryiadh, Saudi Arabia

Extreme Events curates and produces large scale events and festivals across extreme and adventure sports, motorsports, music, lifestyle and entertainment sectors. We also represent the IP and commercial rights of 3rd party events and brands in the Middle East.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Creative Lead:
This is a fast-paced and busy environment that requires working to tight deadlines. It requires extensive contact with internal colleagues, stakeholders, international partners, agencies and sponsors.

As the Creative Lead you will:
• Demonstrate continuous creative and strategic thinking
• Develop and execute new creative advertising or branding concepts including new brand identities that are forward-thinking, supports business objectives and resonates with the target audience
• Experience in copywriting and proof reading
• Manage multiple creative advertising or branding briefs
• Execute marketing and branding assets as well as campaign adaptations including digital, OOH, stationery, gifting, merchandise, venue branding and other event-related deliverables
• Support Social Media Manager with content creation (image/video/animation edits)
• Support in creating commercial ideas for potential partners that are creative, innovative and inspiring
• Create commercial presentations based on developed strategies and content
• Basics of motion design and video editing
• Support in creating content during the events or other activities (photography, videography)
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, project management tools such as Slack, Wrike or other

PRIMARY RELATIONSHIPS

• Within the organization, the position has primary working relationships with the Marketing Director and the events team.
• Outside the organization, the position coordinates with multiple stakeholders including the brand guardians, event venues, multiple supplier agencies, and freelancers /support staff.

Requirements

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE

• Educated to degree level
• Either gained in a B2B or B2C organisation the successful candidate must have a minimum of 7 years advertising and branding experience in the events, media or agency
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Fluent Arabic and English speaker
• Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
• Strong time management and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
• Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills with the ability to monitor and act quickly to the needs of the project, suggesting and making changes if required
• Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
