Job description / Role
Our client is a national leading financial institution based in The Middle East. They are looking to hire a Credit Analyst that will be responsible for providing analysis and assess the risk of the borrowers and proposed credit structures.
The ideal candidate will have a direct supervision of the Credit Risk Manager and will be responsible for:
- Ensure adherence to Group risk policies guidelines and procedures, and awareness of regulatory changes pertaining to credit risk.
- Assess policy impact on the Group's risk profile, as guided and instructed by supervisors.
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationship with all other related departments and units to achieve the Group's goals and objectives.
- Perform credit assessments, and comply with established / approved credit risk policies and guidelines.
- Coordinate with business unit Relationship Managers for the timely receipt of customers documents.
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years experience in major bank's risk functions.
- Good quantitative modelling, analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in risk concepts, banking products / operations / systems and pertinent regulatory requirements.
- Good understanding of credit risk methodologies and/or other complex financial risk modelling would be highly desirable.
