Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To take responsibility and ownership of company’s receivable ledger in Saudi Arabia by leading the credit and accounts receivable teams and ensure achieving of company’s receivable targets while developing both teams and collection process.

KEY DUTIES:
- To lead the Credit Team in order to meet cash collection objectives and targets set by the Middle East Credit Manger in line with group targets
- Lead, train, manage and coordinate the credit and accounts receivable teams
- To review and improve the current credit and collection process in Saudi
- Effective allocation of customers to credit team members and calculation of their monthly profit share
- To maintain customer and salesperson satisfaction through communication and effective account management
- Execution of the company’s Credit Policy
- Manage risk and minimize overdue exposure through maximizing payment security and report any risk foreseen
- Appraising new customers to assess their credit worthiness
- Supervise reconciliations of customers accounts an take all necessary measures to keep them up to date
- Frequent contact with significant customers as part of escalation process regarding their accounts including reminders, visiting customers and Dunning letters
- Forecasting of monthly cash collection and report analysis on deviations versus actual cash collection/ cash collection targets end of month
- Preparation of monthly Accounts Receivable Status reports for KSA MD and Head Office in Dubai
- Coordination and follow up with company’s legal representatives/ debt collection agencies appointed by the company in order to ensure company is kept up to date and report the status of each account to head office
- Provide regular updates and information to line manager
- Other ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by the Middle East Credit Manager

Requirements

- At least 3 years experience in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
- Must have recent experience of managing a credit control team
- Ability to communicate firmly and clearly with both Internal and external customers
- Able to work in multicultural environment
- Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Strong IT and systems skills (Microsoft Excel)

DESIRABLE:
- Arabic speaker Preferred
