Job Summary

The Crowd Management Specialist - Transportation Planning is responsible for preparation Crowd Management studies for road projects and multi-modal transportation planning projects for all transport sectors globally in K&A. The jobholder will be prepare project cost estimates, including physical and price contingencies, taxes and duties. The jobholder will be responsible for being a Crowd Management Specialist on planning projects, as well as developing capabilities in the design center. The jobholder also has experience in developing simulations for Crowd Management projects, and can attract, develop and standardize transportation planning capabilities within the design center. The jobholder shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the Crowd Management field and represent the firm as a specialist in the professional engineering communities and international forums.

Job Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Planning
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Science is preferred
- In depth knowledge of the Transportation Planning industry and Crowd Management
- Sound knowledge of relevant policies, procedures pertaining to Crowd Management
- Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
- Marketing and sales skills and track record in developing relationships with customers
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Arabic

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in Transportation Planning and Crowd Management studies in a position at a design, engineering and project management consultancy firm
- Strong experience and track record in dealing with large and complex transport projects including multi-modal Transportation Planning projects
- General experience in coordinating with other engineering disciplines typically involved in Crowd Management and Transportation Planning projects
- Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures pertaining to Crowd Management
- Exposure to global best practices and trends in Crowd Management field
