We have an exciting opportunity to work in Al-Ahsa, as part of a new strategic partnership with Interserve Learning and Employment, to enhance and develop existing colleges operated by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), which provide technical and vocational education programs. These programs confer Associate degrees.

The Curriculum Manager is a senior member of the ILE management team in Al Ahsa College of Technology. The post holder will be key to the successful design, development and review of the curriculum in the college. The role would suit someone with a deep understanding of how high performing FE/HE institutions can develop a curriculum that is responsive to local, regional and national need.

Work closely with the ILE senior management team to develop and deliver the strategic objectives of the CBP project with specific leadership responsibilities for curriculum development. Be the lead person in the ILE management team in relation to curriculum review, development and implementation, working in close liaison with the Provider Head and senior management and key stakeholders. Lead the college wide curriculum development process producing detailed plans for the introduction of new curricula. The post holder will work in close collaboration with managers, staff and stakeholders to ensure new programme development meets defined need, reflect labour market demand and are consistent with national standards such National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS). Ensure the review of existing curriculum, materials and assessment- are implemented consistently across the college.

Develop and implement college assessment policy and procedures, standardization training workshops, assessment regulations, marking and moderation processes to ensure consistency of standards.

Support the systematic review and development of teaching and learning materials. Oversee and updating program and module material, including staff and student handbooks, to support the teaching and learning process in consultation with other academic managers.

Requirements

- Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution
- Qualified teacher status

Skills and Experience:
- Extensive management background within an educational setting.
- Extensive experience of curriculum development and review that meets stakeholder needs.
- Sound understanding of quality assurance policies, quality enhancement and moderation.
- Possess a strong team work ethic, excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation.
- Superior interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Fluency in English.
- Arabic speakers are highly sought after.
