Data Analyst

Job description / Role

• Establish Centralized data store for all services to extract reports and business KPIs
• Establish Data governance practices.
• Analyze complex data sets for valuable business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and contribute to data strategy development.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through data stewardship practices and governance oversight.
• Perform data profiling and validation, resolving discrepancies and anomalies.
• Contribute to data model development and participate in designing data flows for reporting and analytics.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis.
- Proficient in data analysis techniques and tools with a strong analytical mindset.
- Familiarity with data stewardship practices and governance principles.
- Experience in data profiling, validation, and discrepancy resolution.
- Knowledge of data modelling and ability to contribute to data flow design.
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining data-related documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Understanding of data-related tools and technologies.
- Knowledge of data quality best practices with a commitment to ensuring data integrity.
- Proactive problem-solving skills for timely resolution of data issues.
- Banking/ Fintech sector experience is required.
