Job Description

  • Act as a trusted advisor, consulting clients on data strategies, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Oversee the delivery of diverse data solutions tailored to meet the unique and varied needs of our clients.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with top technology vendors to ensure access to leading-edge tools and platforms.
  • Manage and coordinate data teams across multiple countries, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and consistent delivery of high-quality results.
  • Assess and manage team capacity to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to build team capabilities.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development while setting performance objectives and coaching team members.
  • Implement agile methodologies to enhance project efficiency and adaptability.
  • Provide technical guidance across key data practices, including:
  • Data integration, quality, and governance.
  • Building data warehouses and big data solutions.
  • Implementing data visualization and virtualization strategies.
  • Designing and delivering AI/ML solutions.
  • Leveraging cloud technologies for scalable and efficient data solutions, including cloud storage, compute services, and cloud-native analytics tools.

Technical Skills

  • A minimum of 18+ years of experience in data analytics and delivering diverse data solutions, with at least 8 years in a similar leadership position.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong technical expertise in a variety of tools and platforms across data practices, including ETL frameworks, data quality and governance, data warehouses, big data systems, cloud technologies, visualization tools, AI/ML solutions, and programming languages.
  • Strong relationship management skills to coordinate with remote teams, clients, and technology vendors.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects in a highly dynamic and diverse client environment.
  • Familiarity with the Gulf market, particularly in KSA, and an understanding of the governmental sector are advantageous.
