This essential role involves designing and managing comprehensive data architectures that support our strategic business initiatives. You will be instrumental in establishing best practices for data management and ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of our data. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead efforts to develop innovative data solutions that drive efficiency and growth within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data architecture frameworks that align with business objectives and improve decision-making processes.
• Create and maintain both logical and physical data models to effectively organize our data assets.
• Work collaboratively with business analysts and stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure consistency with the data strategy.
• Lead data integration initiatives, guaranteeing smooth connectivity among various systems and applications.
• Remain informed about industry trends and new technologies to promote ongoing advancements in data architecture practices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data professionals regarding best practices and technical expertise.
• Foster a culture of data-informed decision-making throughout the organization.
• Understand, document, and analyze existing data architecture designs and their modifications.
• Establish the future data reference architecture, detailing data entities, relationships, associated standards, etc.
• Identify gaps in data architecture and enterprise data designs.
• Define and develop data elements and entities, including detailed definitions, relationships among them, associated theories, relevant services, and procedures.
• Specify and develop requirements for data exchange and integration.
• Define data requirements for various solutions and services.
• Develop data architecture designs and facilitate the technical integration of applications for projects throughout their development and implementation phases.
• Create and update principles, standards, and frameworks pertaining to data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or information technology
• In-depth knowledge of data management and governance
• Experience with data management products
• Proven ability to lead a data management team
• Understanding of alignment with strategic and operational goals
• Familiarity with relevant technical and national regulations and standards, along with the capability to implement them
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Competence in assessing compliance and generating necessary reports
• Expertise in statistics, data analysis, and research methodologies
• Certified Enterprise Architect TOGAF +9
