Job Description
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows for ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data availability and quality.
- Implement and maintain scalable data architectures and infrastructure.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance practices are followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies.
- Utilize SQL, Python, and other tools for data manipulation and analysis.
- Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.
- Monitor and improve data pipeline performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.

Technical Skills

- ETL Tools and Processes: Experience with ETL tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or Informatica.
- Big Data Technologies: Knowledge of Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and other big data frameworks.
- Cloud Platforms: Proficiency in AWS, Azure, GCP, and related cloud services for data storage, processing, and management.
- Data Modeling: Ability to design and implement efficient data models for various business needs.
- Data Warehousing: Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake.
- Data Governance and Security: Understanding of data governance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and security best practices.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve data issues.
