Job Purpose

Assists in all basic activities that relate to the analysis and evaluation of current systems and supports in the identification of business, organizational, and/or operational systems requirements as well as support in the design, development and launching of systems in support of business functions, processes and programs.

Responsibilities

DUTY1 / effort % (020)
Works with organizations at all levels in order to maintain an overall corporate management information system which is the primary source from which information is gathered for policy and decision making at corporate level.

DUTY2 / effort % (015)
Conducts feasibility studies and prepares feasibility reports, stakeout studies and prepares project proposal reports.

DUTY3 / effort % (015)
Interfaces with IT in the design and implementation phases of IY-based Business Systems and provides support to IT as the department client.

DUTY4 / effort % (010)
Prepares the user manuals and associated documentation resulting from Business System implementation.

DUTY5 / effort % (010)
Prepares conversion plan and user installation plan for applicable organization.

DUTY6 / effort % (010)
Provides the support and advice, and business procedures necessary to maintain the integrity of data which originates within department business organizations.

DUTY7 / effort % (010)
Provides training to operational and staff personnel in order to maximize the effectiveness of Business Systems within the assigned department.

DUTY8 / effort % (010)
Conducts special studies as assigned.
