Job description / Role
• The main responsibilities are Lead and supervise specialized technical team of Data Warehouse DWH/BI.
• Co-Develop default strategies for extraction and archiving extracted data.
• Additionally handle Business Intelligence Security and BI Access management, creating BI materials.
• Reports to EPD Sector Manager, interacts with ETL Developer/Designer, modeler, QA, IT, Data Analysts, BI Developer and DWH/BI Team, IT and other departments.
• Establish Project identity, Identify project resources and prepare project plan.
• Develop project communication plan, process to manage scope/control changes and develop process to measure success.
• Ongoing project management (techno-functional).
• Establish governance responsibility/process, Establish program communication plan, Establish program best practices.
• Conduct periodic program assessments and ongoing program management.
• Monitor security privileges by individual and Audit security violations.
• Design BI Security Architecture, BI access services and BI Authentication services.
• Centralize authentication and access control; implement security monitoring and compliance system.
• Review and sign-off all DWH Designs, DWH/BI road maps and plans, DWH ETL design and development, dashboard and indicators.
• Develop advance Dashboards and CSI’s (KPI’s and Metrics).
Requirements
• Candidates should hold B.Sc. degree in computer sciences, MIS, IT or Computer Engineering.
• 12 years in relative information system areas having at least 5 years of experience in business intelligence and advanced Data Warehouse methodology and having at least 2 years of experience on enterprise user access and information security management.
• Experience in leading full implementation of integrated DWH/BI.
• Experience leading technical team members of DWH/BI Teams.
• Previous working experience in all (or most of) government sector (Investment, Infrastructure, budget and Finance, Supply chain, Operation and Maintenance, Healthcare, Education, Employment, Population and Census)
• Solid knowledge of advanced DWH/BI system development life cycle and agile DWH implementation, experience in proven methodologies and ability to engage customized approach blending DWH life cycle methodology with agile.
• Solid exposure to all major areas of DWH/BI (Design, Modeling, ETL, Security, Dashboard, Ad-hoc, Advanced Database, Master data management, Integration, repositories) and good experience in Oracle technologies and ERP.
• Advance logical, reasoning and conceptual capacity.
• 2 years’ experience working city-wide in economic/Industrial cities.
• Tableau rapid analytics experience (optical as plus point not mandatory)
• At least 3 years’ experience in OBIEE
• Previous experience in SQL, PL/SQL
• Leading Technical specialized teams and vendor management experience is a must.
