Day Case Surgery Nurse - UK/Europe Based Candidate

Our client, a premier medical facility, is currently looking for a Day Case Surgery Nurse to be based in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing day case surgical procedures, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing day case surgeries.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, including health history, physical examinations, and patient education regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, ensuring the sterile field is maintained and all equipment is prepared and functioning.
- Monitor patients in the recovery area, providing care and support until they are stable and ready for discharge.
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care, potential complications, and follow-up appointments.
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, assessments, and any changes in condition.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols, as well as local regulatory requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Valid nursing license in Saudi Arabia or eligibility for licensures.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in day case surgery, perioperative care, In patient surgical experience or a related field.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
- ACLS Certified
- Proficient in English
