Hospital
• New high-quality 330-bed Long-Term Care Hospital (LTCH). The LTCH is scheduled to open in December 2019
• Commencement dates October 2019
• Rehabilitation Patients who are medically stable enough to benefit from intensive rehabilitative treatment
• Level 1 Patients who do not have the ability to take care of themselves because of mental or physical disability
• Level 2 Patients who are medically stable and who may be recovering from illness or surgery and require a rehabilitation program because of weakness or a need for continuous medical supervision
• Level 2 Bariatric Bariatric patients
• Level 2 Dementia Patients with dementia
• Level 3 Patients with complex but stable conditions requiring daily medical supervision and specialised care in addition to nursing care
• Level 3b As above, but also including those requiring ventilator support
• Level 3b VIP VIP patients including those requiring ventilator support
Description
• Job Title: Deputy Nursing Director
• Department: Nursing & Therapies
Job Purpose:
• To support the Nursing Director in ensuring effective delivery of the nursing and therapies strategy at the Long-Term Care Hospital (LTCH)
• To ensure the highest standards of clinical practice, patient care and the patient experience, through clinical support, strong leadership, sound analytical planning and monitoring, and excellent communication skills
• To lead on nursing and therapies education and enable the organisation to continuously improve its quality, practice and performance in relation to nursing and therapies
• To deputise for the Nursing Director as required, to provide support in managing the Ward Managers and to directly manage a designated portfolio including the LTCH's Social Work provision

• 20% of salary housing allowance or housing will be provided
• 10% of salary for transport - or transport will be provided
• 5% of salary as food allowance,.

• Contracts will be for two years (renewable)
• Note- the contract is single status contracts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• A graduate-qualified, professional nurse, licensed in his/her country of origin
• Eligible to be licensed as Nurse Specialist in Saudi Arabia
• Further postgraduate education in nursing, quality, management or related is desirable
Experience:
• Demonstrable track record of success in nursing leadership
• Experience of working in long-term care, with the elderly and or those with chronic conditions is desirable
