Design Manager

Job description / Role

We are currently working with a leading architecture & engineering consultancy as they require a Design Manager to join the team in Riyadh due to a number of new project wins. The Design Manager will be responsible for leading the design on a range of large scale and complex projects from inception through to tender documents.

Key responsibilities:

- Acting as the firm’s representative in all technical matters with clients and managing resources and controlling progress
- Development of a project specific work methodology
- Ensuring the design and tender stages is executed in accordance with contractual requirements
- Ensuring that client objectives in respect of project budget and programme are met
- Ensuring coordination between all architectural and engineering design disciplines

Requirements

To be considered for the role, candidates must have:

- Bachelors degree in Architecture
- 10+ years experience in the design of large building projects
- Top tier design consultancy experience in the GCC
- Excellent communication skills
