Design Studio Director

Job description / Role

My client is a leading engineering consultancy based in Riyadh with an excellent reputation and a track record of working on some of the regions largest and most high profile projects. They are currently looking to recruit a design studio director for their Riyadh office.

The role will be responsible for leading fast-paced interdisciplinary teams of designers and more to deliver projects ranging from master planning to infrastructure to tall buildings and wayfinding systems, and branded interiors. The Director will demonstrate exceptional vision, oversee projects from conception to completion, and ensure successful project outcomes.

The Studio Director will deliver creative solutions in a diverse range of markets including aviation, education, entertainment, hospitality, healthcare, retail, sports, and workplace fit outs.

Requirements

The candidate should have a degree in architecture and also preferably a higher level qualification and must be a chartered member of a recognised international professional institute. Candidates must have worked on mega projects in the middle east and preferably within Saudi Arabia and have knowledge of Saudi local procurement regulations and contracts. Candidates must also have an extensive portfolio if their own design projects.
