Employment: Full Time

The role of a Development Director would involve representing the developer's interests throughout all phases of the project, from initial concept to final completion. This individual would take ownership and track the progress of the project, address challenges that may arise, and propose solutions to maintain project timelines.

The client is a leading developer in the region having delivered mixed-use projects, currently focusing on a pipeline of Residential, Commercial, Retail and Hospitality assets.

Description

* Project Oversight: Represent the developer's interests from project inception to completion, ensuring alignment with vision, quality, and budgets while addressing challenges to keep progress on track.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison with external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and positive relationships with architects, engineers, and contractors, while addressing all concerns.
* Contract and Budget Management: Ensure contracts align with objectives, monitor budgets and expenditures, and coordinate with finance for payments and claims.
* Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with laws and standards, conduct site visits for quality control, and address deficiencies with contractors.
* Reporting and Documentation: Prepare status reports, maintain accurate records, and recommend process improvements based on project insights.

Requirements:

* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, or equivalent) are a plus.
* Professional Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in delivering Mixed-use projects including Residential, Commercial, Retail and Hospitality assets.

Skills and Competencies:

* Strong understanding of real estate development processes, including design, construction, and regulatory compliance.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in English is a must, Arabic is preferred.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Proficiency in project management tools and software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
