Description

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Development Director to lead the planning, design, and construction of residential facilities dedicated to accommodating the workforce within the Qiddiya project. This role is essential to creating a welcoming and functional living environment that supports the needs of our staff while promoting the vision of Qiddiya as a world-class destination.

In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of residential development from start to handover, ensuring that the project is successful.

Responsibilities

Lead the vision and strategic planning for the staff accommodation project to create high-quality residential facilities for personnel working at Qiddiya.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including master-planning and design professionals to plan layouts and accommodation types effectively.

Conduct thorough feasibility analyses while considering local housing market trends, staff needs, and best practices in residential spaces.

Ensure all accommodation developments are compliant with health, safety, and local regulations.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

Engage with local communities and stakeholders to align accommodation projects with regional development goals and promote positive community relations.

Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management to keep them informed of project statuses and objectives.

Oversee the preparation and review of tender documents, contracts, and specifications with external contractors and service providers.

Stay updated with global trends in residential accommodation and sustainability practices to incorporate innovative practices in facility design.

Advocate for and implement environmentally sustainable practices in all residential developments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in real estate development, architecture, engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred).

10+ years of experience in residential development or property management, with a strong focus on staff accommodation projects.

Proven leadership and project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on budget management and resource allocation.

Experience with contract negotiation and management.

Familiarity with sustainable building practices and environmental regulations.
