DevSecOps Engineer

Job description / Role

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security practices into the DevOps workflow and infrastructure.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis on applications and infrastructure.
• Automate security testing and compliance checks within the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to enforce security standards.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and potential breaches.
• Implement security controls and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies, and processes.
• Maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and infrastructure configurations.
• Conduct code reviews and penetration testing to ensure secure application deployment.

• Manage cloud security and compliance for AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Ensure continuous monitoring, alerting, and logging for security events.
• Develop scripts and automation for security orchestration and response.
• Optimize existing infrastructure and processes to minimize security risks.
• Provide guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices.
• Participate in incident response planning and post-incident analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and technologies.
• Collaborate on disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Implement identity and access management controls across systems and applications.
• Ensure seamless alignment of security strategies with business objectives.
