Overview of the role
As the Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing all digital campaigns to maximize leads, opportunities, test drives, sales, retention, and loyalty for BYD KSA.
Become a subject matter expert on all digital marketing activities with focus on improving marketing effectiveness and enhancing customer engagement.
Handle the digital campaign management process from briefing agencies to reviewing media plans, supervising executions, optimizations, and reporting.
Social media management (organic and influencer marketing): excluded.
What you will do
- Manage the use of digital media to support the company's marketing strategy (i.e. campaigns, on-ground/in-showroom digital screens/assets, website content, marketing digital customer journey, etc.).
- Act as the main point of contact for all digital marketing activities internally (peers, stakeholders, and COE) and externally (agencies, vendors, OEM, etc.).
- Manage the entire digital campaign management process from developing a sound brief to reviewing plans, supervising implementation, providing data-driven optimizations, reporting, etc.
- Uphold divisional policies and standards, ensuring alignment to Marketing COE, Procurement, and Finance.
- Responsible for tagging, tracking, and tech-related tasks of digital marketing activities, in collaboration with Digital Product & eComm.
- Conduct regular audits and assessment checks of website, SEO, digital media activities, etc.
- Work closely with Digital Product & eComm team on developing a best-in-class website for Al-Futtaim BYD KSA. Provide necessary assets (visuals and copy), applying adjustments based on data and website metrics.
- Work closely with the agencies in terms of reviewing digital assets and performing quality checks on the digital media setup, following industry best practices.
- Work closely with Head of Marketing in managing digital budgets. Track the utilization of budgets regularly.
- Provide timely reporting with deep analysis and optimization recommendations to stakeholders.
Required skills to be successful
- Strong knowledge in digital marketing campaigns, SEO/SEM, display, and advertising.
- Experience in marketing cloud software and digital analytics tools.
- Experience in using a variety of CMS and social media platforms and tools.
- Experience in creating cross-channel digital campaigns.
- Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is desirable).
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills, highly organized.
- Responsible for efficient utilization of campaign management capabilities and available budget as directed by Head of Marketing and the generation as well as conversion of targeted volume of quality leads in order to achieve the sales objectives. Improve the efficiency of media planning and buying as well as creative effectiveness.
- Other metrics deemed important by the Head of Marketing.
About the team
The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Marketing.
What equips you for the role
- Minimum of 5 years digital marketing experience (automotive marketing experience is essential).
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, or analytics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, analytical, creative, team player.
- Experience in automotive is a plus.
