Job description / Role
Our client is an established KSA based Catering and Facilities Management company who deliver services throughout the Kingdom, through a large blue collar work force. They are seeking a Head of Business Development/BD Director to join their KSA based team.
Candidates should be experienced in all aspects of the BD and Bid process including:
• Responsible of the overall management of the business development team across the different sub-segments
• The generation and identification of NEW business leads
• Approaching clients to arrange F2F meetings and presentations
• Be able to conduct quality presentations to showcase the services and capabilities of the company
• Be able to identify solutions for the client in terms of scope of work and service levels
• Be able to run and manage the bid process, including accurate estimation and pricing
• Be able to create accurate and professional (tender) documents for tender submittal
• Drive revenue and profit increase to achieve the Segment`s ambitious growth as per segment strategy
• Maintain relationship with key clients and prospects
• Work closely with marketing and other company departments to ensure the company remain competitive in term of cost, service portfolio and innovation
• BA or BS degree – Essential
• 8 to 10 years of experience in business development in the B2B food service industry – Operational experience or Facility management experience is a plus
• Client centric
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Strong networking capabilities
• Capability to listen and understand market and clients’ needs and expectations and to translate them into solutions
• Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting
• Capable to think strategically on both short and long term
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Capable to influence clients and team members
