Director Construction Management

Job description / Role

• You will be responsible in leading the construction and delivery of the developed assets and ensure timely delivery of developed assets.
• Candidate must have current and relevant experience working on MEGA Projects that they have completed.
• You will be responsible to direct staff and resources to meet program delivery requirements
• Provide input and recommendations regarding the selection of construction contractors
• Oversee activities of contractors and sub-contractors, in particular with regards to construction companies
• Set up network of PMCs (incl. supervision consultants and on-site contractors) for each construction site / asset development
• Ensure executions of construction plans and support in the design of mitigation strategies to guarantee timely delivery according to agreed quality
• Work collaboratively with construction General Contractors to generate successful construction methodologies, systems, procedures that lead to optimal outcomes in time, cost and quality of built work
• Participate in the monitoring of the final inspection of works
• Monitor progress and provide information to Program Management department on a monthly basis
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process
• Ensure appropriate logistics system is in place to deliver planned assets

Salary:
USD 20,000 to 35,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High degree of flexibility and organization skills to accommodate a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and service oriented environment
• Experience in delivery of varied asset classes
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
• 15+ years of experience in construction, of which minimum 5 in a similar position
