The role of the Director of Entertainment is to establish a global industry leader for next generation entertainment; beyond amusement unique, delivering uniquely share-able experiences that overwhelm the sense.

Design, develop and execute Entertainment strategy in order to support the sector's and overarching strategic and business objectives.(visitation, resident settlement, satisfaction, IP creation) Entertainment strategy and activation will cover the development of the offering for B2C (for residents and visitors) and B2B (establish attraction development studio "imagineers" to develop and retain IP for export) and debuting and showcasing in NEOM) · Identify new modes of experiences and delivery utilising technology platforms to create Unique, Immersive and Enriching experiences that respond and adapt quickly to consumer demand based on popular culture.

Planning, Budget and Strategy.

- Detail entertainment strategic plan and initiatives from roadmap design to delivery
- Develop budget for Entertainment activation and broader sector development
- P&L input and management for the approved initiatives
- Work closely with other relevant sectors and colleagues to ensure synergies and requirements are captured in planning, strategy, and execution (e.g., Media, culture, Tourism, sport)
- Day-to-day hands-on management of initiatives in alignment with sector leadership and managing stakeholders, suppliers and industry players from concept to completion
- Drive best in class sector activation initiatives in compliance with industry standard health, safety and security, contracts and procurement, data privacy, and brand and visual identity guidelines

Requirements

Entertainment Director - Government Project - Riyadh, KSA

- 15+ years experience in the entertainment (utilising cutting technology)sector, in leadership/ management positions encompassing, policy development, strategy formulation and asset development( themed and aquatic attractions, family entertainment centres, live event entertainment programming).
- Deep knowledge of the sustainable entertainment ecosystems(hard asset based and soft programme) regionally and globally
- knowledge of circular visitor experience that harnesses technology to create bespoke personalised experiences.
- Track record of successful end-to-end delivery of projects and programs, from briefing and conceptualisation through to onsite management, execution, and evaluation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels.
- Third party and supplier management.
- Exposure to culture/arts education/learning sector

Degree, arts, preferable
- Relevant industry qualifications
