Director of Financial Planning & Reporting

Job description / Role

- Leads the financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, planning, and business strategic analysis of the company
- Develops Financial and Strategic Dashboard Reports for divisions, BOD, and shareholders Reporting
- Manages preparation and communication for all internal and external financial reporting
- Manages the Planning and Reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Reporting Package
- Ensure IFRS and GAZT compliance
- Ensure Financial Controls, financial policies, and procedures are in place
- Manages Finance System function to facilitate development of reporting tools and overall maintenance of Finance systems
- Reviews analysis results, develops insightful suggestions for investment, sourcing, cost reduction
- Leads the budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, implementation, and business strategic analysis
- Manage, direct, and develop Financial planning & Reporting staff

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
- MBA, CPA, or CMA strongly preferred
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in Finance ideally in commercial real estate development
- Extensive experience in financial planning, data mining, and modeling expertise
- Experience in building complex financial models to evaluate various financial plans
- Experience leading, coaching and developing staff
- Excellent verbal & written English and Arabic
- Knowledge of investment portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instruments
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Zakat, and Taxes reporting requirements
- Knowledge of Finance System expertise a plus

It is essential for the candidate to have a very confident and strong personality as the role reports into a dynamic CFO and board
