Job Description
- Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, market competitiveness, and exceptional financial performance.
- Develop and manage F&B budgets, action plans, and promotional activities to stimulate sales and control operating expenses.
- Lead and develop the F&B team, including hiring, training, motivating, and coaching staff members.
- Manage the smooth daily operation of restaurants, cafes, and in-room dining services, ensuring high-quality food and beverage offerings.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competition to recommend and implement appropriate product and operational changes.
- Coordinate with other departments, including Conference and Events, Front Office, and Engineering, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare and review financial reports, forecasts, and key performance indicators for all F&B outlets.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in service, product, and presentation to maintain the hotel's competitive edge in the luxury market.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in multiple food and beverage department head positions within five-star luxury hotels, with proven success in managing budgets and forecasts.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team, including performance management and staff development.
- Thorough understanding of luxury guest expectations and commitment to meeting them.
- Proficiency in Micros, Opera, and other relevant applications.
- Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English essential.
- Aware of industry trends and aptitude for developing promotions and marketing strategies.
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as required.
