A highly reputable medical group, and one of the largest providers of comprehensive healthcare services in the Gulf and Middle East region requires a Director of Nursing.

Our client has 14 medical facilities across Saudi Arabia and more than 13,000 highly qualified Medical Staff being hired from 66 countries.

Job Summary:
Director of Nursing is responsible and accountable for the standard of nursing care in the hospital in collaboration with other hospital leaders.

Responsible for overseeing daily Nursing Operational activities to ensure that all patients are receiving the expected Nursing care guided by JCIA/CBAHI standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and leading nursing services in the hospital.
- Develops and review nursing organizational chart
- Represents the Nursing staff in all hospital activities
- Participates in decision-making processes including planning and budgeting.
- Oversees and assures that committee’s recommendations are implemented at the Nursing level and patient’s medical record.
- Ensures the competency of the nursing staff.

Participates and represents Nursing in hospital committees as needed.
- Quality improvement
- Infection control
- Pharmacy and therapeutics

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifications not less than 3 years study duration from accredited program
- MSc in Nursing/Healthcare or management or administration field (preferable)
- Valid/Current National License (in the country of origin)
- BLS Certificate/Card
- Preferably with International accreditation experience
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in general hospital
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in similar position/ senior nursing management and leadership
- Knowledge of JCIA standards and nursing practice
- Solid experience in a busy hospital with at least 300 beds and should be involved in complete operation
