Job description / Role
A rare exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director of Procurement focusing in Non Food (Corporate Procurement) working for a large retail group to be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will manage the buying processes for all Non Food items using leading practice procurement tools.
Key Responsibilities for the Director of Procurement - Non Food
* Manage monthly category spend and benefits tracking reporting
* Establish purchase reporting and analysis of management and implement a continuous improvement approach across all processes to streamline an effective method
* Manage all activities of vendors (4000+) plus search for reliable suppliers and maintain contractual relationship with vendors
* Manage an overall re-development of the procurement function to minimise costs and improve performance
Requirements
Key Requirements for the Director of Procurement - Non Food
* A minimum of 10 years of experience and currently managing the Procurement (NON FOOD/Corporate) function and multiple vendors (1000+)
* Candidates from the Retail/FMCG industry to be considered
* Strong leadership and negotiation skills required
* Must hold a bachelors in Business (MBA or CIPD ideal)
