Summary
Lead the development and execution of sales, marketing, and communications strategies to achieve revenue goals across all segments (corporate, government, leisure, MICE, F&B, Events).
Build, guide, and inspire a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
Strengthen relationships with key accounts, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring Hyatt Regency Riyadh is the preferred choice for both business and leisure travelers.
Drive brand visibility in the market through effective PR, digital, and social media campaigns, ensuring alignment with Hyatt's global marketing initiatives.
Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and emerging opportunities, adjusting strategies proactively to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure a balanced and sustainable approach to growth.
Qualifications
- Language skills: Native or fluent professional English (spoken and written).
- Market knowledge: Proven experience in the GCC region, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A deep understanding of the local business environment, culture, and evolving tourism landscape is essential.
- Professional experience: Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Director of Sales & Marketing within the hospitality industry, ideally in an upscale or luxury environment.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Brand expertise: Previous experience with leading international hotel brands, with a strong record of delivering commercial results while maintaining brand standards.

About the Company
Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively. On December 31, 2004, substantially all of the hospitality assets owned by Pritzker family business interests, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation, were consolidated under a single entity, now Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
